What makes Alitherm 400 thermally efficient?
It uses polyamide thermal break technology that creates a barrier between the cold outside and warm inside, significantly reducing heat transfer and helping achieve low U-values (as low as around 1.4 W/m²K or better with high-performance glazing). This helps meet current UK Building Regulations (Document L) for energy efficiency.
How does the “Quick-Glaze” system benefit installation?
Alitherm 400 uses Quick-Glaze beads with integrated gaskets, meaning the glazing gaskets are pre-extruded into the beads. Installers can simply tap them in on site – reducing fabrication time and simplifying the glazing process.
